No, actually. I caught a little of it. But I had a good friend visiting for just a shor time and, wth, it's archived. I think maybe I'll do that right now. Thanks for the reminder.


But, getting back to the topic at hand, does anybody who's posted in this forum have any objection to my wiping it out? Or, alternately, to leaving it as is, making it public and using it, henceforth, for just a couple of Elan ppl to post gems from the original Elan forum?

That was the question, after all. The other question, well I already answered that hundreds of times and I won't bother to respond again.

This will be open to the public to read but only moderators (for lack of a better term) can post. This will not be a discussion forum. The old Elan forum will still be open for that. This is intended as a way to make the good and valuable Elan documentary type stories available to people who (like most) don't want to wade through all that bullshit to get at them.

I asked you cause you already mod this forum. And I asked Matt cause, frankly, he's the only Elanian I know who I'm sure is for real. Not coincidentally, he ain't got time for it just now. So....

We'll see. Anybody else got a `pinion here.

I would not let my children go to SW anymore than I would let them sleep in Michael Jackson's bed. I don't care if he was aquitted, it just ain't right.

I think that the tone of the board is starting to change . I would like to believe it is and I hope it remains .
 
There is a lot of golden nuggets ,rich in  truth, liberally sprinkled through out that forum.
 
It would be a shame to see it go .
 
I think though that the lunacy found on that board is a direct result of the type of the program that was administered by elan and its henchmen. You know the history ,the program began with the mother of them all synanon. Simply put elan is a variant of synanon and the lunacy is in direct correlation with how elan and its henchmen instituted it's brand (of the program).
 
God I hope that makes sense .
 
During my time elan was a very sick and twisted place that in my opinion abused children as well as adults. Watching adults get abused in no way made it a safe place for children or made me feel safe . The type of abuse was physical as well as emotional and it has seriously affected lots of people
 
I believe that if our brothers and sisters who were in that hellhole maintain a sense of decorum and realize that bad lunatic crap that went on in there was not their fault ,let go of the guilt and be witnesses to and for each other that the truth about elan will be taken seriously.
 
After all there are alot of our brothers and sisters (in my opinion) that roam the earth as emotional cripples due to what happened to them at elan and even worse there are people dead in my opinion for just having come in contact with this place (elan).

Almost 5 years ago this is what was happening and changes were made, I do agree w/ Matt and everybody here Elan
did do a lot of damage to all of us to some degree or another. I know all the Elan ppl here know exactly what This
Thread "Demolition" is talking about and what Antigen was trying to accomplish. If we could just read the posts and
witness what Elan folks where doing to one another, I think we would get it.
Sharon, thank you for the thread concerning "We left the Door open" that hit home alot and got me thinking that I am
going to have to become more willing then I even understand right now. Sharon I want to be willing, I want Elan
exposed....
I have spent alot of time here reading old posts especially Elans. I want to learn and keep moving forward, discard
what doesn't work and keep what does. I find that in these old posts there is inspiring testaments, opinions and
emotional maps to help me with my journey.
We are from Elan, "WE ARE NOT ELAN"  I have to tell myself that sometimes, especially when I feel shame. This not my
fault.  I don't separate my time there as resident then staff it all ran together and I never felt I was staff, just
another Co-ordinator.
