Insomnia

I fucking HATE it.  I never really had it as badly as I have since getting out of there.  My poor kids, they could never sneak out without me waking up thnking a Goddamn n/c was trying to get out.  Once they explained to me where they wer going, I was fine with it.

Anyone else have insomnia?

I don't believe in God. My god is patriotism. Teach a man to be a good citizen and you have solved the problem of life.

Yeah, I have been plagued by chronic severe insomnia since I was a kid...and yes it did get worse after Straight. Over the years I have tried just about every known insomnia remedy without much relief....but now I am having a lot of luck with Melatonin. I fall asleep within an hour pretty consistently now. Yes, this is actually a huge improvement.

Have you tried melatonin yet?

Natrol's 3 mg, extra strength tablets. I think there are a couple other brands but I have found all to be just as good....its really cheap too.

I go through bouts of it myself.  I am on some new meds that I only take part of the time because they are so damn strong.  The stuff makes me sleep about 12-14 hours and if I have to wake up sooner, it is very very difficult.

Something I do is purposely stay up all damn nite one day out of the week and get rid of old bills, checks, paper work, and do some light housekeeping so that I don't wake up the bird.  The next day, I try and keep caffeine to a minimum and just slug through the day.  Once it is time to hit the sack, I usually sleep like a rock and this lasts about 4 weeks if I am lucky before the insomnia kicks in again.  By the way it is not PMS, it is lunar.  PMS is triggered by the moon and has been for thousands of years.

Inside a warehouse behind Tyrone Mall
we walked in darkness, kept hitting the wall.
I took the time to feel for the door,
I had been \"treated\" but what the hell for?
