As a former Hyde student I can say that many of the faculty members are former students. Many of these people cannot cut it in the real world, so stay in this isolated cult like environment. Honestly when i was there it seemed that these faculty members were more messed up than the students. How can these people help students when they can't even help themselves? If this school wants a better reputation they need to hire some people that have psychology degrees, not former students. I doubt they ever will though, because any doctor would see that this is a very sick environment.

I agree. The pervasive incest at Hyde (staff who are married to each other, related to the Gauld family, former students who are "married" to Hyde) is remarkable. No wonder Hyde seems impervious to outside criticism. This is a bizarre environment. no wonder so many refer to Hyde as a cult.
