See the third post down. Is Jay Mathews afraid to talk about this history? Did he forget to check the Post's own archives? Or did his editor tell him not to put that old stuff about child abuse in today's article?

Sure is funny how Riddile and The Washington Post neglect to mention this era of Riddile's career. Is he not proud of it? Is someone getting paid off to sweep it under the rug? Or is there something more sinister going on here?

Why did President Bush give an award to Mel Riddile, when Mel Riddile was responsible for Leaving Thousands of Children Behind.

I mean US. Kids who were in Straight, all of us who were victims of child abuse and known methods of thought reform taken from communist prisoner of war camps.

If you are a reporter and want first-hand interviews with people who were in Straight when Mel Riddile was there, why don't you post your name and publication and ask people to contact you.
