Oh, the Glory of it All by Sean Wilsey
« on: September 16, 2005, 10:34:00 PM »
If it hasn't already been mentioned "Oh, the Glory of it All" is a relatively recently published memoir by Sean Wilsey. The memoir is about his very narcissistically disturbed high society family and some bad boarding schools, the worst being Cascade, which he escaped from.

I appreciated the whole book and could sense the truth in how he described his experience at Cascade. The book reeks of honesty. It ends well, too. He's in his 30's, capable of loving, creatively successful and seemingly pretty sane despite the horrors of his childhood.
