Awesome, thanks for the link (hope Ginger puts these links on her resource page so other kids can find each other)

I am very impressed with the intellect, humor, love, and forgiveness these kids have after surviving a boarding school from hell.

Rampant talking out of group ... like Ginger says .. YOU ROCK!

That's odd b/c I grew up just 100-200 miles from the program which I was sent to, and there were 3 girls there that grew up in the same location as the school.  The reason, for your information, that they have them in secluded areas is so it is easier to find the run aways...These programs do more than you ever could do, so why don't you just let them do their professional jobs!!!

"A lot of things going on at WWASP programs is illegal. Students in the hobbit don't even get their daily nutritional requirements, and the standards are pretty damn low in the states where WWASP chooses to open business. They pick the least regulated states of all to open up in, so basically there is no infastructure in place to regulate them and/or shut them down.

These places are usually built in small towns, and provide a lot of employment. The kids all come from rich areas of the country, California, the northeast, etc.. none of the kids come from the town itself. That's a lot of money being pumped into the local economy. So there not willing to shut them down.

When it comes down to it, ignorance and greed still prevail. Only those abused in the programs know the truth, and nobody believes you when you explain it to them. OR don't care. Either way, it's up to us survivors to do something about these places because we are the only ones who know how fucked up they really are.

They clean up real nice when getting visitors from the state too. They scare the kids into behaiving and telling them what they want to hear. It's the upper level kids who interact with 'officials' who come and visit. It's a fucking scam... not sure what else to say. Just one more of those fucked up things in life that you can't seem to do anything about.."
