I remember Armond. I also remember his partner in crime, Charles. While they were @ Elan 8, they did everything in their power to get themselves kicked out, and they managed to succeed. They were both absolutely fucking disgusting!!!! I felt bad for the chief at the time.

I didn't mean to offend anybody, i just do though. My only point is...

If *everyone* in elan had done exactly what Armand + Charles did, how would the staff manage to keep any semblance of order? The chief was effectively acting as a quasi-staff member, supporting the system of abuse most of you claim to hate?!?! If the chief (and the expeditors, coordinators, etc...) had acted out as well, the order would have collapsed quickly, and many of us would not be here today... it takes strong people to collapse a system and weak people to participate as cogs in the machine. Thus is my final and only point of contention - I did not mean to offend or insult anyone else here, and for that, I am sorry. I am here to insult the elan staff.

Arman bit me once when I was on his SP.  It was hell SPing him.  

Now Rich Iavarone, on the other hand, was funny as hell.  Rob Page-Auger and I always used to laugh at his impersonations when we were on his SP and people would get mad at us and say, "STOP FEEDING IN!"  I would be like, "OK, you try SPing this kid with a straight face."

Armon was also Joe Ricci's nephew.  He didn't get off light because of it though.  They put him on the phone with Joe and the guy basically threatened to beat the shit out of him in front of the entire school.

I heard years ago there was an uprising their, and elan did get out numbered and called in the Police. Anyone there for that? And details o what went on? And why?

4 over in Waterford use to go over there from poland springs and pull night duty.(in 74)
it had alarms on the doors and windows I don't think they worked.

Most of the people there at the time were from rhode Island sent there by the state.director was McCann,a cross eyed sicko use to smile when he was gouging peoples pressure points,a true whack job.

they ,elan, moved all or most of those people in 4 to parsonsfield, at the time poland springs was filling up with people 125 0r more.

4 became 6 were you in 4 0r 6?  I was there(in that hell hole elan) from 74 to 76 almost 30 years ago. Saw some nutso stuff go down,its the memories of that crap ,so surreal,could write so many pages about that stuff.

did you know Bob Holt? Split 5 or 6 times from 3 and 6 He was the split king. He is dead now heart gave out walking down the street in Charlottesville Va.couple of years ago Talked to him in 90.

Felice good see you .Long time no hear from you I trust you are doing well .Love the art  yeah Poland Springs water does hold a different meaning to me .

Hi Matt,I was in the Parsonsfield E-4 in 82,I remember a lot of horror stories about the first Parsonsfield house and that f-d up iron incident in 2a during your time. Our parsonsfield house was also closed down due to corruption,lack of staff control. We drove J.Gottlieb nuts.I was full co of exp when the house was shut down.

How nuts did Gottlieb go back in the earlier days? I remember his entire head would lare up red asa tomatoe and spit flying from his mouth as he screamed and yelled at the kids. This man is bound to have a heart attack one of these days.

I was in Elan 4 and 2A from 1978 to 1981. The kids did take over E 2A. A bunch of guys  beat the night owl with a hot iron, then went to the girls dorm down the path and kiddnapped the night woman.About 6 got away. It was crazy.There was state police all over. A ALL HOUSE GENARL MEETING was called in Poland.ALL HOUSES went TIGHT. Elan 2A was closed down. :eek:

Elan 4 was the worst of all the houses . I was therefrom 1978 to 1981. Peter Mccann was dir and Joe Rod. Later it was Mark Rosenburg. It was a living HELL 24 7. Elan 4 was a locked house. The windows didnt even open. No one ran from there and ever got a away. NEVER. Even the thought of having EYES for someone got you a Genarl Meeting.  Anybody want to hear stories about back in the day I have tons. I was in most of the houses. Elan 8 was just getting done when I went AWOL from Elan 6. I got AWAY. There really is a God.
