i worked at TLC last year, i was there when rayes died. yes all they say is true, he couldn't walk he couldn't do anything and no one did a damn thing about it. when someone would ask about it the people higher up would just say don't worry about it. Mr. Banks stated this is what drugs and alcohol will do to you. the disprespect these people show is horrific. they show now respect so why should cadets show respect. this place makes me sick, and to think i was part of it. the sad part of it is that when i was employed there, i didn't see anythign wrong with it. until i saw a cadet eating there own puke, a cadet die, a cadet being lied to, a cadet taken down. and many other situations that were sick.

Thank you so much, anon staff, for having the courage to post. What a mind-f***, eh? I hope you're doing alright on a personal level dealing w/ this.
And I hope you'll tell us a little more of your story. How did you land up on staff at Thayer? Were you a program graduate? I think people have a hard time understanding how group-think can go so wrong for so long. But it does, often, I've seen it w/ my own two eyes. I think it would be helpful in telling this story if more former staffers would pitch in their bit.
Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.
