TEEN ARRESTED / IVY RIDGE ACADEMY

<< < (2/3) > >>

I'm not sure what, if anything, the Kenyan embassy could do. I would guess they could file a formal complaint with the government that one of their citizens had been held in an abusive and negligent snake pit, where he felt compelled to take action to free himself - and now was being charged with a crime as a result.
Also, maybe, they could offer to send him home to live with relatives in Kenya. I know many a TB kid would be delighted if the US embassy in Jamaica offered as much.

This says it all...  Anyone "glad" to see a child arrested is a sick fuck.

If you're glad to see kids arrested, why wouldn't you just "let nature take its course" and save yourself a boat load of cash by letting your kid get arrested instead of trying to "save" him with a program?

What you're saying is that your happy for SOMEONE ELSE'S kid to be arrested.

In any case, you're one mentally disturbed bastard.

Antigen:
I know a kid who came from Kenya when he was 14. Unless his family back home are extremely wealthy by local standards, I doubt seriously that he'd take a trip back home over whatever accomidations the authorities in NY have to offer.

say what you will about the sweet miracle of unquestioning faith, I consider a capacity for it terrifying and absolutely vile.

Quite Possibly Ginger - altho from my reading I gather Nairobi is a very large and prosperous city.
He might far rather be there than Ivy Ridge, or some other state side snake pit.

Antigen:
Oh, I agree. But I think if they're charging him, he'll probably land up in the juvy system.
If I am of the opinion that it is inexpedient to assign to the government the task of operating railroads, hotels, or mines, I am not an "enemy of the state" any more than I can be called an enemy of sulfuric acid because I am of the opinion that, useful though it may be for many purposes, it is not suitable either for drinking, or for washing one's hands.
