a clone page is basically a site run by an organization with the same content as another site they have... The designs may be completely different, and the site's url will most assuredly be different, but the content is the same... They do this to saturate the search engines with their content (and it works)... i.e. Tranquility Bay has their main url at *tranqui*&litybay.org... but they also have many different urls with the same content at places such as *difficult-t*&eens.com etc...
