no, it's not a stretch. i read the entire conversation on ST and Karen did urge this parent to get her daughter to have an abortion even though the daughter was over the age of consent and it's none of her business anyway.
i think the point here is that Karen likes to insinuate herself into everyone else's life with her high and mighty directives about how to do quite literally everything. she's a controlling cunt who feels the need to tell everyone else how to live their lives. she's the prototypical program parent (despite the fact that her son was a failure at tbs and failed a year academically).
