I have had to change my ID on this forum several times due to harrassment by Fornits posters. I started as KareninDallas, then changed to HStreet and now RandomWalk. I have gotten some PMs asking me about it, so I am posting this publicly.
So-it's me, guys, and the reasons for the change had nothing to do with this forum, of course. Be careful....

OMG ... they are a scary bunch. I too am constantly harassed. The thing is ... some of what they have to say bears some weight.... It's the delivery that needs some serious tune up.

Sorry.

Someone is, once again, impersonating me on Fornits with the name Random Walk. In case anyone-especially parents new to this forum- wanders over there, I want to make it clear that these postings are not made by me. What you have is about 4 or 5 posters amusing each other. Have fun, kids.

I would Change my name again.
How about "Purposeful Walker Who Used to be Random"
Then register this new name on the other site so no one else can have it.

Write to the owner of the site, see if that helps. That doesn't sound legal for someone to post impersonating you.

Take care,
Mose

"Write to the owner of the site, see if that helps."

Surely you jest, Mose. Write to the mentally-challenged Ginger? I tried that after they posted my email address and AIM name all over their site, along with total filth. Anyone can register whatever user name they want. There is no accountability on that site. I just want to make sure the sane folks know it isn't me posting on Fornits. (P.S. Random Walk is a math/business school term- it doesn't refer to my exercise routine!  )

Karen, I will privately e-mail you, as I don't want someone from fornits to take what I say here and post it over there, and believe me, they will.

Someone just gave me the good news that the Fornits site is down while it is being "upgraded". We can only hope that they "upgrade" most of the contributors right off the site. Pray for a huge computer crash that eliminates all the site's data.

As you reminded me it is the owner who is the problem.
She sets the tone on that site and she is the one who allows and encourages nasty mean vindictive discourse on all subjects.

Have you ever exchanged private email with her?]
Oy vay! is all I can say.
She is a piece of work and completely unmoored to reality and being a good parent.

Is she willing to listen to reason and learn the truth about abortions without all the rhetoric surrounding it from religious groups, this way you can take her for abortion. The earlier the better.

I recently talked to my daughter about my abortions when I was a teenager and young adult, and it was an enlightening conversation for me since her and her boyfriend had all types of terrible misinformation and believed all the myths that are perpetuated. It allowed her to see it as a very mature decision and a medical procedure that is legal in our country!

Mose- I agree. It is absolutely an option that should be considered unless the family's religious beliefs rule it out. That is sure the direction I would want to head in this situation.

I am personally opposed to abortion. For a multitude of reasons ... which I don't care to debate here. I have remained very objective and asked her if she considered abortion and she flat out said "no way". She up to this point has embraced the pro-choice ideology. But, she said she can't terminate.

I am hoping she will consider an adoption plan. She will make an appointment tomorrow with an area agency that helps young girls in her situation. They will objectively present her options. My desire is that she make her own decision with lots of accurate information.

"Regarding Fornits, I just look at it now, and won't respond again."

Leslie- It was pointed out to me that you have registered a user name on Fornits and are posting regularly. Do as you wish, but you might want to consider your motives AND the reasons you can't seem to follow through on what you intend to do.
HOWEVER, I do NOT post on Fornits and would appreciate if you would leave my name out of your blathering over there.

anyone from ST reading this, please be aware that Karen is a consummate liar.  she posts nasty, nasty things here all the time, only she doesn't have the onions to sign them.  she's just a cowardly, twisted little liar.
