"Seven members of the 16-member girls track team were students from Midwest Academy. Shanae Vaifanua qualified for the state meet in the long jump. Heather McDonald qualified for state in the high jump, but was unable to attend the state meet."

I wonder why.  In OP at the time?  It must be weird associating with regular kids and still being in a lockdown.  I wonder what the High School kids think.

Vaifanua? must be the director's kid. It must have been awful for her, getting abused by her father and seeing him abuse others at Midwest.
