Please consider starting a TOPIC thread of your own rather than inserting this message in any/all other threads.

Seriously, this is an important topic but it appears to me there is a better (less spammy) way to more effectively promote your agenda and the goals of your organization.

I totally disagree!  As a parent of an abused child who attended a treatment facility, I am more than happy to read and sign the petition.  I hope and pray all the parents and children who come to this thread click on the link and do their part.  Where else would you go to spread the word than a thread full of individuals who have been affected by the teen help industry??  Your posting nearly discouraged me, but I felt the need to press on.  I am glad I did!  Parents and teens who have endured the nightmare, please read and make your voice heard.

thanks to parent above- I don't see that spamming point at all.  Far as I can tell some are irritated, some being the above and antigen, but I figure that few alumni really look at other schools thread and thus would not see this petition.  

I think the 300+ signatures says it all with regards to visibility and support.
