I live in sunny south Florida and to some it's known as recovery capital. There are so many treatment centers, detox's, and halfway houses that it is over run by AA, NA, CA, SLAA, and what ever other "A" group can be mentioned.
It seems as though all this "Recovery" shit is about a person putting a fucking dollar in someone else's pocket.
When people make it through the detox's then go into treatment the centers try to suck every penny they can get out of the insurance companies. But it doesn't end there. Once a person finishes treatment they have counselors strongly suggest that they stay at a halfway house.
Once in a halfway house you have gold diggers telling you they need a weeks rent and deposit. The halfway houses cram 2 or 3 people per bedroom and the amount of the rent is like paying for your own place. So here is another asshole sticking a dollar in his pocket.
If you use while you are in that environment they kick you out and keep your deposit which is in my opinion robbing a person. And so there a person is busted forced out on the streets.
Sounds like a lot of love to me ......
