Anything else is just opinions and speculation.
The FACT REMAINS: Cheryl Sudweeks has been CHARGED with 7 Counts of Child Abuse against 4 different children. And the investigation is still active and ongoing.

This is correct, Sue Scheff is NOT an educational consultant, she is an independent program referral/placement service and as such, not bound by the same principles and ethics as members of the IECA are. See example below.
Excerpt from IECA principles of good practice:
School/College/Program Relationships
...A consultant does not accept any compensation from educational institutions for placement of a child.
...A consultant strives to avoid actions which may give the appearance of an attempt to influence an admission placement.

The only VICTIMS are the children!!! Parents hold the responsibility for their poor decisions...they are not the victims...they are as guilty as they hold PURE and Whitmore.

You guys really don't get it, do you? I was a student there for a full 12 months. If students really are the victims like everyone is saying, than how am I not being empathetic? How am I shifting blame? I'm not putting a sob story out there, I'm simply telling the truth. Did any of you ever live at the Whitmore? Please don't tell me how it is then. I went there when I was fourteen years old. It was not a happy time. If you really know how it is and these are your true opinions then you have a right. I have no right to try and make you change your mind -BUT- If you weren't there, you need to pay attention to what I'm saying because I obviously have a better understanding of the situation. I was a student there! Of course Cheryl needs to be held accountable, I know she's already been charged but nothing has gone to court yet. I am extremely hurt and angry about what went on there, to me or other kids. What I'm trying to do here is simply give people a better picture and stop their needlessly judgmental comments. Of course the focus should be on the kids, they were hurt most. Of course people should try to make everyone involved answer for what they've done. A civil suit is one way.
I know where the focus should be, I lived it. Next time you make such ridiculous comments about me shifting blame and not "thinking of the kids" please remember, I lived it.

Anneliese, believe that poster was referring to the ANON who keeps trying to shift the focus onto the PARENTS who enrolled their kids at the Whitmore. The attack is NOW ON THE PARENTS--accusing them of NOT investigating the Sudweeks in detail before enrolling them at the Whitmore.AS IF the parents are reponsible for their kids getting abuse there. AS IF the parents should have KNOWN from the contracts they signed that ABUSE was "just around the corner." AS IF they parents should have known that those Canadian animal abusers would "surly be child abusers, TOO. AS IF, your parents, and all the other parents just wanted to GET RID OF THEIR KIDS...so the parents are to BLAME for any abuse that happened, and not the Sudweeks. That the PARENTS and KIDS got just what they bargained for--abused kids because they sent their kids out of state and "should have know better." That the PARENTS are stupid, if not "unfit" for sending them to Whitmore to begin with. FORGET that the parents believed the Whitmore was an accredited, school and that the Sudweeks WOULD provide the contractual, PAID FOR Services.
IT IS BLAME TIME NOW---so it is time to blame YOUR parents, and all the other parents.
NO!!! That will not be allowed.

You students who are speaking out have a voice, and it will be heard! We will listen. You will not be drowned out.
This is not one of Cheryl's little group sessions in which you and other students can not be heard when you speak the truth.
Cheryl Sudweeks is not in charge here.
She does not run this show! It is a public forum, and you can speak!
