Right. Parents did not send their children to Whitmore because they were simply tired of dealing with them. Most if not all the children were being seen by professionals prior to their placement at Whitmore. Parents were DECEIVED by fraud, and false advertising-- and believed the Whitmore would provide Education and various Therapy--SERVICES promised by contractual agreement, and PAID FOR.
As for Caitlyn/MOUSE: it is not 'Belittling' to ask a person why they are out-right lying. And it has been stated that this girl is most probably being used. No one has every blamed these children for what they have done at the direction of the owner(s) of Whitmore; this girl included. Never believed Caitlyn/MOUSE really knows or cares about the 'inner workings' of PURE in the first place--so who knows if Caitlyn/MOUSE is actually the "TYPIST" anyway, or if it's just Cheryl using her name?????

Any responsible parent would have conducted a thorough investigation prior to sending their child anywhere.
Reading an advertisement or contract isn't enough....it is your responsibility as a parent to do what is right by your child. When you don't, you are neglecting your child and this is CHILD ABUSE. You gave your power as a parent to a complete stranger who happens to be so conveniently a long way from your home. (OUT OF SITE = DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM! 'Fess up now...someday YOU will have to look in the mirror!!)
And, by the way, isn't it strange that not one child complained of being hurt by anyone at Whitmore on Parents Day?
It's the leaf-tree thing....parents have issues...therefore..so, do the children. DEAL with it!!!

Talked to and checked the license on the Therapist: Tim Lowe.
He was licensed by the State of Utah, and had no criminal history, or lawsuits against him at all.
At the time: the only thing that showed up negative that was really of concern about the Sudweeks was the animal abuse in Canada--and this was explained away by the Sudweeks, and the referring agency, Sue Scheff of PURE--the same way they keep "explaining it away on this forum."
Sadly, we believed them.
At the time of placement: Whitmore Academy WAS LICENSED by the State of Utah as a treatment facility. This license was revoked after the abuse allegations in November 2004. Parents WERE RESPONSIBLE.
The owners were the irresponsible parties HERE!!!
One parent DID remove her child during parents weekend! Think she did not take lightly to the son being thrown down the stairs by Cheryl Sudweeks.

NOT ENOUGH....talking to two people does not constitute a thorough investigation...particularly when they are all connected through the $$$ end.
All states grant licenses to various facilities and individuals for various purposes. It does not mean the state endorses the facility or the credibility of the person.
It takes more than looking for licensure...almost anyone can get that..I'll bet you can find one on the internet for a small price!!
YOU should have done your homework.....that is the point......GET IT?? JEEZ....animal abuse should have been enough of a CLUE!!!!
But, I guess you were in a HURRY???!!! Sounds IRRESPONSIBLE to me!!!
