perhaps someone who said you arent educated if you came from whitmore would like to put up or shut up.  My child will test against any of your high school test.  Hey ex whitmore students who would you like to send to represent whitmore education???

call the Nebo School District.  Ask if the Whitmore was accredited from 2003-2004.  Speak to Scott Wilson.

I don't understand how children from Whitmore could get into college when there is no school in which they can be linked to in order to take the SAT's or ACT's... those are both standardized tests in which students in high school need to take in order for a college to even think of accepting them! Especially top universities... So what were each of your SAT or ACT scores? And getting into a top university in the spring doesnt mean much,sorry... But you can be put on their waiting list and be placed in the spring, but that still does not mean you were one of their top choices to come directly into the school, that means you had to go to some other classes in order for them so place you... Oh and besides most top universities dont like enrolling students in the spring, its a known fact and especially since I am doing so much research on schools because I am personally finding one for myself to go into once I grad. The things you are saying dont hold facts... Now present them, your SAT or ACT scores... Please

DO you really think:
Candidacy Status of Accredidation which is "RED FLAGGED" is really a superior deal?

That's the status of Whitmore Academy!
Go check it out.

i took the SAT at the highschool where I live once I got back. I havent gotten my scores back yet, because I just took it, and I am ENROLLED for Spring. Ive got orientation soon, the SAT took 3 hours, and they took teh analogies out and put an essay in. Sure, when I get my scores back I will share if I find it appropriate, but it really is no one else's business. And to add to all of this, who said I was going to a TOP UNIVERSITY? (or are you talking abuot Mouse). Anyways, all i know is that I was excepted into school, and I am attending in the Spring, and it is not one of those country/agricultural schools.

Good for you.  I hope you did well on the SAT. I understand the new writing element is difficult, and that the scoring is "controversial," so I hope you do well. Good luck in whichever college to choose. You are lucky that you returned home to high school, and are not trying to enter college DIRECTCLY FROM WHITMORE. I think that is where most are having difficulty.

actually the new SAT takes 4 hours, but good try! At least you knew they took out the analogies, but tech. they didnt because they just replaced them with more of the sentences...

Oh, and about the girl who came back to a new high school... I was mainly asking the students that grad. from the whitmore how they could have taken the SAT's, because I know you need what they call a "home school" so you can sign up for them.. I too hope you did well on the SAT'S let me know what you got if you don't mind! I would like to know what others around the country are getting because now they dont really know what the average/ good/ bad scores are, if you know what I mean... GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

If there is any kind of structured classes at Whitmore, it has only been in the last few months, hardly time to get kids college-ready.

Was just telling that student: so glad you took the SAT...going to good college etc etc.
Then the next posting contradicted the student's posting: said the SAT actually took 4 hours, not 3 hours, and so forth.
So was wondering if this student lied?

no i didnt lie, and i am going straight intol college from the whitmore. I went to my old highschool to take the test where everyone in the city takes it. No, you werent lied to, and thank you for wishing me luck. I appreciate it. I never said I know everything to get into college, and I never said that I agree with everything the Sudweeks do. I have been sticking up for my friends who are being put down on here, and I am hoping that I get into college. This has nothign to do with the Sudweeks, it has to do with me adn my future. People automatically assume I have taken sides, but rather this is one issue.

How interesting, a bunch of rich white kids in suburbia complaining about getting into college.  You sound like a bunch of junkies who are unable to handle a normal productive life.  Get your lives together and grow up.  From reading through your postings it appears the Whitmore Academy does not teach much english or grammer.  You people are horrible.  Why do some of you stand up for Whitmore?  That place is a dump and fraud.  Some of you need to come to terms with that and stop staning up for it.  It looks like it will be closed and the owners will be imprisoned soon, which is good for Utah.  The Sudweeks need to be stopped and punished.  If the law is not going to do it, then vigilante justice should prevail.[ This Message was edited by: 007burd on 2005-06-15 11:10 ]
