: : Does anyone know the name of Medical Director? Clinical Director? and Executive Director of Growing Together in Lake Worth, FL?

: Do you know anything about Dr Otto? He is the psychiatrist my son in SAFE sees. He has him on a ridiculous amount of amphetamines. The maximum recommended dosage is 40 mg. and he was started on 90!!!! They even have him taking it before bedtime to make sure he doesn't sleep well.

Straight put kids on peanut butter diets. Now peanut butter is chocked full of vitamins and calories, and there is not one kid in America who doesn't like peanut butter and jelly. So Straight would give a kid a thick peanut butter choker sandwhich for breakfast, lunch and diner, every day for a month. So the kid would be put on a bread and water diet (with peanut butter) though Dr. Newton has testified that they got orange juice. Eventually the kid would say, you give me another peanut butter sandwhich and I'll puke. Thus Straight was able to starve kids, in a subtle way, such that if they ever sued, Straight could claim--hey we didn't starve her--we gave her all the nutrious peanut butter she could eat. It's not our fault if she refused to eat. Straight settled with an Atlanta woman for $37,000 for placing her on a peanut butter diet for a whole month.

Now in Straight you can not lift weights until you make phase III, thus the captors, organized, better fed, and allowed to body build were better able to intimidate the newcomers.

In their weakened and demorialized state, I told Ginger that no one could withstand the psychological, verbal onslaughts wrought by GROUP. Basically that's true, but then there's Tim Ashley. Tim is a small wiry guy like Art Barker. He has been a guest at my house. When big Jason S. got in Tim's face, Tim broke Jason's nose.

Somebody had Tim put on medication. Now I am not saying that Straight had recalcitrant, non-compliant kids drugged so as to be more compliant, I'm just saying that Tim is one of the few who did fight back, all alone, and I'm saying that Tim was given put on some sort of drug. NBC News did a segment on Synanon c. 1983 reporting that there were allegations that Synanon was using mind control drugs to control kids in its punk squad. So Alba it does not surprise me to hear that your son has been put on massive dosages of a drug.

Here's what happened up in New Jersey. Rebecca Erlich's attorney, Phil Elberg, got a ruling from the judge, that should a jury find for the plaintiff, then he could seek punititive damages. (When Fred Collins won his case against Straight in 1983 for $220,000, about 90% of it was for punitive damages. Fred won because the jury agreed that he had been falsely imprisoned. Fred did not win big because the jury did not agree that he had also been abused.) This meant that should Rebecca win, then Elberg could go for the properties of Dr. Newton and the three psychiatrist affiliated with KIDS through the years. It was when Elberg sent a discovery request to the psychiatrist requesting information on their personal properties that they put pressure on Newton to settle. In other words, if my mal-practice insurance pays the award--so what. But if she can get my home, settle.

Now I believe doctors are better protected in Florida which is run by the rich elite and the mafia. I believe if OJ had murdered his wife in Tampa, then at least they couldn't get his house. Nevertheless there are other assessts.

Alba, I don't anything on this Dr. Otto . . . yet.

TO ANYONE. If you were in Straight or in a Straight-like program, and you were put on any sort of thought control drug or on a special diet, I would like to hear from you. Even if you read this post two years from now.

And by the way when the governor of Florida eventually gives Richard Bradbury the special award he deserves, I think the Tim Ashley's should get some sort of recognition too.

From the Oakton Institute for Cultic Studies,
have a good day,
Wesley Fager
