: My daughter sent me this e-mail. Do any of you know anything about it? Please check it out and let me know, before I send it to my daughter in Florida. It is: "http://www.csj.org". It seemed to have a lot of information, but I didn't want to indulge if it didn't seem "ligit". I'm still in the learning stage and even though I know and understand what is going on, I don't know if something like this would help or hurt.

I've been studying some of those same sites too. I vaguely remember something from a few years back about the Church of $cientology having taken over operation of Cult Awareness Network. And, quite frankly, we can fully expect the same sort of activity here. All players in this game are on a jihad of sorts. If my own father would lie to a cop in an effort to have me arrested and returned to the program, you can bet there are folks who would try to nutralize our efforts in any way they can and without a second thought.

"Scoundrels are predictable, but you're a man of honor and that frightens me." -- Robert Heinlein in Glory Road.

My stock response, coming from the perspective of a 6 year Net vet, is to take it all in, gather the info you're interested in from as many and varied sources as possible and use the sense of reason God gave you to determine what's most plausible.
I've been having lots of good fun identifying the tactics listed by Fact.net at http://www.factnet.org/coercivemindcontrol.html in discussion on alt.law-enforcement on Usenet.

I'm only half kidding when I say LE is really a cult.
