Does anyone happen to have a picture of him.... there is just one more picture I found online... but it's just of a bunch of old guys, maybe one of you would know which one he was... btw this is a race for prostrate cancer.... anyone happen to know if that's what he died from? thats noe mel wasserman. that pic is of dennis, a faculty at cedu. he owned a music camp close by.

Usrus, thanks for all your help. That guy does look like a different 'mel wasserman' from ny... The other "tiny" picture isn't him, because I watched the video & the guy is referring to mel wasserman as if he's a different person, and that other person verified that it was the music guy down the street.

Does anyone else think it's strange that there isn't a pic of him anywhere on the net... oh well. If anyone ever finds one, please let me know! thanks, Kathy

None of the images linked above are Mel. I met him when he visited RS in 1991.
Mel was one ugly son of a bitch - balding, bushy mustache, big coke bottle
glasses, and really fat. He was a slob too - I remember seeing food stains all
over his shirt. Honestly, the guy was gross- and I remember being dissappointed
after meeting him. After having spent the past year of my life hearing bullshit
superman stories day after day of the "great" Mel Wasserman - I really expected
more. I also remember thinking that he looked like a pedophile.

On another note - I recognize the image from the link URSUS posted - It's Dennis Docksteader. Dennis was the music teacher at cedu rs in the early 1990's,
He was the most melow staff there. Dennis did an interview for Liam's cedu
film which I believe is still posted on youtube.

Serb has a pretty accurate description. I doodled what I remember about the guy, so, from memory, here is what Mel looked like. Someone plz verify if my memory is accurate on the matter.

Well, I never saw the guy, but that pretty much corresponds with the previous description. Isn't it funny how we have some kind of mental image of someone we've never seen before and it ends up being so completely wrong. I was listening to some of those videos of people who used to be associated with cedu (on liamscheff.com) and the way they said he came in a limo and had camera men all around him, I thought he'd look more like an person who would try to put on airs...lol... evidentally he looked just exactly like he was.... a furniture sales man.... lol.... (no offense to any furniture salesmen out there.)
