Bigger than WWASP

http://www.aegprograms.com/

This corporation has over 10 schools in their flock.  They accept referrals from those referral sources that have an agenda against WWASPS. They also pay them a hefty fee for their services.  Any wonder why you don't see much if anything about their schools posted here?

WWASPS does NOT pay educational consultants or teen helpers to refer to them.  No wonder you see so much about WWASPS!

Considering the success of WWASPS, it is inevitable that those that aren't profiting from it will target them in a negative way.

I don't expect much negativity being posted to this.  It will prove my theory.

Notice how none of the PURE camp posted on this thread?

Most didn't even know they were part of a larger group.

i think PURE did post on that link.  Someone, out of the blue who had a teen there, miraculously found this site and posted a glowing report?  What perfect timing!

You think wwasp is somehow more ethical b/c they don't pay ed consultants? Or are you just trying to throw sand in folks eyes?
WWAsp has there own ed consulting business - Teen Help.
They try to make Teen Help seem independent of wwasp - but the two are like two heads on a hydra.
Teen Help IS WWASP.
Teen Help refers to WWASP programs only.
So, it seems to me, they have just circumvented the need to work with ed consultants  by setting up there own shop.
The ethics are questionable, when you consider how hard they try to pretend to be a separate entity.
I think the ethics are more questionable than the paying of ed consults, by the programs that do; altho I do understand why people question this practice as well.
I also find it questionable that it is ethical to pay parents for placement referrals. In effect, this makes the whole Program Parent Population another branch on their private ed con referral tree.
This practice is also troubling due to the psychological ramifications on the referring Program Parent. It is very much more difficult to admit something is wrong, when you have taken part in it to the point of financial profit.

So, all this being the case; you've sure got some gall to go throwing around accusations against others with regard to ed con ethics.

I think the poster was pointing out that since WWASPS is a large organization and they don't allow referrals from ed cons, they are not profiting from the placements.  They can't all be crooks, but they won't refer to WWASPS period because their profession is money driven.
