He believes that hard work and income have a relationship to each other. Poor guy. The dog's exceptional intelligence is really wasted on him. :(

Truth is - most people would not have taken the time and trouble to notice what an exceptional dog Skid Boot is. Most people would assume his destructive and frustrating antics as a pup, meant he was stupid - and most people would have dumped him in a shelter, telling the shelter staff he was dumb as a box of rocks. This is the sad fate of the majority of really smart dogs. The average person is to stupid and self absorbed to appreciate an animals intellect. This is one lucky pup - and one very smart cow boy.
