bri_rose: I don't know if you'll actually see this since your post was from a while ago but I really hope that you don't wish you were never born. I am a former "Gage Girl" and I remember taking care of you and your sister when you were little. I lived at "Royal Haven" from May of 97-December of '97 and taking care of you guys was a privilege in the house. It was the "best" job you could have to be honest and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. You guys weren't "spoiled little brats" and you didn't throw tantrums or make our lives any harder than it already was. You guys were great. I remember once being thrown up on but I can't remember who did it!!
Like I said, your dad may have done some bad things in his life but it had nothing to do with you. Despite his actions, you are not him. You had nothing to do with it and you couldn't have changed it. Even if he and Karen hadn't met, Steve would have eventually done it, probably not on the same scale but it's just the kind of man he was. I have no hatred for Steve or for Karen. I was really close with Cassandra and I always felt worst for you guys. I never thought you should have been forced to live in that home. You girls were too little to have to work and deal with what we went through but Cassandra was treated just like one of us. I hope she's okay and I wish I could get in touch with her to see how she is doing. I wanted to send you a private message but the site wouldn't let me.
Getting back on the subject though, please know that everyone in that house who had the pleasure of helping to raise you, really did enjoy it. I know I did. I look back at my time in Royal Haven and I can't think of one bad thing to say about you or your sister. Remember that, please!
