I was there in 1963 &  remember the horrors of being dragged to the basement for electric shock which I knew nothing about.   A male attendant used to visit  my room & made sexual advances  "advising" me to be nice or he could make my stay unpleasant.   Who would fabricate this more than 40 years later?   I was constantly drugged & my parents paid a fortune, because in those days insurance did not cover psychiatric, & to this day I have nightmares of the abuse I suffered.   Never told anyone because who believes you in a place like that.
