The Troubled Teen Industry / CASA CLOSING
« on: October 17, 2004, 10:39:00 AM »
Yes Honda Rider, actually you have missed quite a bit. You get 2 conversations a month with your kid. Why can't you talk to him every day? And, how long was it before you got to talk to him the first time after placement there? Kids that don't report problems advance, kids that attempt to report it get things like OP, 0 points, level one. There was a suicide in Spring Creek Lodge earlier this month. Did you know that even happened before coming to fornits? I bet his mail, if he ever sends any, goes to HQ in Utah before it comes to your house. If that isn't a cult behavior, what is? Oh, and did you sign that 0 tolerance sheet? :scared:

Honda Rider says... "I find it interesting that you can?t accept my firsthand case reports as data that has no statistical relevance. I?m sure given a couple of hours, a cup of coffee, and a few google searches I could find papers, written by PhDs no doubt, that support my claims. Because, as you?ve graphically demonstrated, there?s studies out there that can prove anything."

The Troubled Teen Industry / ANOTHER WWASPS FATALITY?
« on: October 13, 2004, 12:48:00 AM »
When you say "confronting" in the previous post, would you consider that as a typo or is it more like a Fruedian Slip?

Also, I have read about how many of the kids that "opt out" at 18 have been in one or more of the wwasp facilities for over 2 years. My point is: These are programs from which kids are supposed to graduate, and when they don't, their families close the door on them. It appears to be a situation where the non-graduate 18 and older kids are left to fend for themselves, often right after leaving the facility that very same day. Example- (Homeless shelters) If I was escorted to one of these programs as a kid at 16 years old, didn't apparently agree with, believe in, or otherwise failed to internalize the program mantras in 2 years, I doubt if I ever would graduate. However, I would also believe that I should NOT be excommunicated from my family and left to fend on my own without even as much as a roof over my head. This reeks of some degree of extortion. How can you justify this Brown? Why are kids shut out of the family if they take their "exit plan"? :???:  Please elaborate if at all possible. I am interested to hear your perspective on this little part of this otherwise BIG picture.

Straight, Inc. and Derivatives / If you dont have anything nice to say...

OK, I sense progress here. The reason, point, etc... for my question was based on an observation I have made over the many years since my experience in STRAIGHT, INC. Most all of the survivors of that program that I know or have talked to have not informed their bosses about their stints in the program. I find it rather odd that a place that is SO successful according to the program staff, parents, etc... would not be mentioned by a successful graduate applying for a job. I know people who have flat out lied about their "treatment" in order to get jobs, etc... Is it so shameful and embarrassing to tell the truth? What is the harm? If PFC is so great at fixing kids drug problems, then why does it not make sense to use that accomplishment on an application for employment?
This is not against you, I am merely making an observation here that even in PFC, people are still not willing to disclose this feat of graduation to people out in the real world, ie prospective bosses. Amongst fellow clients, it is no problem talking about graduation, how much pain one endured, who killed themselves, etc etc... but, once clients deal with people in the real world, it's a different set of rules. It is the cultish nature of the program, I suppose, do you agree?
Just for goodness's sake,
When you post vile comments in a forum full of survivors of STRAIGHT and its spinoffs and predecessors, you are just adding insult to injury, creating problems that should never exist, and basically causing a lack of interest in coming here to read it. It's fine if you want to promote PFC, you may be in the minority though.
Not a sermon, just a thought... ::cheers::

Sorry Tony, I see that you have failed to answer my question. It made perfect sense. I don't take orders from imposters.

:silly: If you were applying for a job, would you be willing to put Pathway as a reference on your application? Id like to see you flip off a police officer like that too, lol...

DO YOU:

Brush your teeth in the shower?

Need water by your bedside?

Catch yourself motivating at a confrence, or other place where you must be called on to talk?

Sweat horribly in the night?

Look people in the eyes when they talk to you and vice versa?

Can you read peoples emotions and call them on it?

Think it is necessary to talk about your feelings when ever relating to another person?

There is so much more.

I just thought we could have a little fun listing our STRAIGHTLING quirks.

Peace and tremendous love

Saammie"

I dont know if this is from straight, but, I notice around survivors I visit that they don't watch their kids that closely. Also, all the doors are friggin locked, even when I'm there, and then coffee is always on the beverage list. Soaking a pillow at night happens everyonce in a while...

 Hey Ex dude, why do the staffers that work at safe inc lock EACH of the 4 front doors EVERY time they go in and out of them. I counted 27 open and closings in one hour a couple months ago. Oh, and why are 3 of those 4 doors taped up with paper? Oh, and why are there ladies that carry trays of medicine bottles back and forth thru these doors, and why was there a guy carryin a thin foam pad with a ripped up sheet remnant on it through a papered up door? HUH? Those kids are imprisoned!

I bet the locals think there's somethin fishy goin on over there. I don't think I ever seen any such behavior before or since at a place of business.  :???:

Straight, Inc. and Derivatives / SAFE, DFAF, ANCHOR, PROTEST 9-11-03
« on: August 22, 2003, 11:39:00 PM »
One interesting FACT here. None of the emails sent to the "legitimate" participants has been answered. There is a sneaky kind of feelin that maybe SAFE, DFAF and the Anchor Foundation have more to gain from this event than previously thought. Could this be a conspiracy theory?

Straight, Inc. and Derivatives / SAFE, DFAF, ANCHOR, PROTEST 9-11-03
« on: August 19, 2003, 11:13:00 AM »
The time has come for all survivors to come to the aid of the people who are being "treated" by STRAIGHT, INC. spinoffs. This particular "protest" is about sharing information with the public that has been duped by these people that run SAFE, DFAF, and the Anchor Foundation.
People say they have to work, they're too far away, etc etc... Well, this is just one day out of the whole year for us. 5,000 people will attend this event, they are coming to make money for SAFE, DFAF, the Anchor Foundation, and many other charities. There may never be another chance to spread the word in person to so many people, especially ones that live right there in Orlando. All you gotta do is to hand out printed information to as many people as possible.
If you are unable to attend, there are other ways to help that don't require time off from work, etc... At the charityforcharities.org website, there is a page for sponsors. Some of these people had no clue about what is SAFE etc... Please email them with information about the truth. There is a chance that the sponsors of SAFE, etc... at that event could rescind their invitation.
There will be news crews, etc there. Please do not miss this event either in person or on the net.

Thank you,

Aqua Fortis

For those of you attending this event, 70 decibels is the legal limit, Bullhorn should be OK, but you'll have to stay on the sidewalk next to the road.
