Hey Kevin, it felt really good to see that you had posted to this site.David C. from the Ut program, you may not remember me, my bro was in as well, Chuck C, he was blonde and i had dark hair, anyways i remember being a newcomer at your house very well, lol, god a sheet and that hardwood floor. i must have been non-compliant at the time.You know i can sleep anywhere now, God that place was crazy!Im very happy to read that you are doing well, and your mom and dad as well!If i remember right, you visited the Ut program for a few days?Alot has changed for me since that time, for the good i might add, still clean pushing sixteen years Jan 9 04, married with two little boys Theo 6, my replica, Dawson 2, and the third addition will show his face on the 23 of this month, we named him Colin.So I stay pretty busy.Anyways enough rambling on my part, i want to know more about how things are going for you?I leave in Peace my friend, with many good memories of you and all from KOBC!

God this site is addicting, everytime i log in and read new posts i am reminded of so many things, and have so many overwhelming feelings come back to me!It has been over fifteen years since my intake which was performed by Andrew S, and Blake K.I can still remember how long it took me to convince them to let me go out for a ciggerette halfway through.Little did i know, that what was suppose to be a three to four day stay would turn into several years.Wants and Needs anyone?God LOL, my first time i had a carton of smokes added and I honestly thought that i would get them!Anymore i try not to take my stay at Kids to seriously, even though there have been many times when talking with friends that i have compared it to being in a Nazi concentration camp, and yes like all of us I had really fucked up nightmares for years after i ran for the last time.This site is in many ways good for me, and in a few ways bad as well!Hey does anyone remember the term ,"The Big M"?And if so, do i still need to "own it" or be Honest about it if i did it last night?LOL, just a little humor for the night, i hope that at least one of you's can smile and laugh about it.Love Ya Group, DTC

I can relate to that all too well, and well for myself i find that repressing it is Not the way to go!We are all here for each other and so talking to anyone here on this site and any close friends would be very helpful.I'm here for you anytime you feel the urge. Always, DTC

Being sleepy can impair someone's ability to do thier job.  People
can sleep at home and come to the job with sleepiness still in their system. The sleepiness can still be there long after the employee has slept. When someone is found to be sleepy on the job, they can claim that they went to sleep the night before.  The only solution to this problem is to ban employees from sleeping.

Let bygones be bygones, and to each his own!I dont resent the "Program" and any who were ever involved or who are involoved still!At the same time i can say i dont condone the type of treatment that we all recieved.As for myself i am very thankful that i was able to get clean and remain clean, for without it , I would be nothing!And have nothing!I dont remain in the past and i do not dwell on all the shit that happened to me in KIDS of BC, its been fifteen years and i have a somewhat normal life to live, a wife and two, soon to be three little boys to raise to the best of my ability.Yes I, like the rest of us have my struggles and I will always be the first to say that i am very very far from perfect!I will never be perfect, far from it!But hey thats life, to live a life without struggles?Well i know for myself that I would be without Wisdom!And i need all the Wisdom i can get my hands on to help my children from making the same mistakes that I have made.Love Ya Group! Its been too long since i have been on this website, and everytime its the same for me, so many thoughts and emotions!I can remember as if it were yesterday, what it was like to be in KIDS OF BC, as im sure we all can!I know for a fact, for myself and all of us that being involved in the program has forever changed each and everyone of us in one way or another.For myself well for years after running from the Utah program I had nightmares and they were always the same, I was on the run and and had been caught and once again was in HELL!!And then i would wake up and realize hey I am free!!and i would feel so relieved but at the same time so freaked out, and that feeling would take hours even all day to go away.I cant really remeber the last time i had one of those dreams and thank god!I always told myself and all that know me that the only way i would ever be brought back to Kids would be in a wooden box!I would fight till i was dead!!I was in the program in Jersey for 2 years and then after being left behind by the Utah program and finally making 2nd phase i made back to Utah and was a part of the program there for about four months and then i ran, and never looked back!The program was so fucked up, but you know at the same time i can say that if i didnt go through the program i know i wouldnt be clean today and have all that i have , my wife and my two little boys, and i sure as hell wouldnt be working in the field that i am in.Its getting really late and i have to work tomm so im wrapping this up for now, but before I go I want all of you on the East coast to know how much I love and miss you guys, and would love to hear from any of you!
