I got out 18 years ago. I had nightmares for 9 years until my daughter was born. I think then I had all my focus on her (still do) so it helped. They are gone now but I still have these almost 2 year gap in my life that I can't explain to anyone. I wish you all the best. Success is always the best revenge.

I am also 33 and was at Victory when you were. I still struggle with it. It must be normal for going through something like that. I was in Bethesda in Mississippi before Victory. I haven't been able to talk to anyone about this. The words don't come out. Last night my husband read all that has happened to me on the internet. He knew it was bad but now it is so nice to have it explained to him. No wonder I'm a little looney at times..sheesh!
