No one has written in a long time, and Im not much of a blogger/message board poster myself, but this school did so much damage to me personally that I will never forget it. Keep the thread alive keep posting or contact me.

Looking at this board it is Amazing to me that Desisto being as small a school as it was is getting so much negative attention. How bad was it really compared to other schools. I went there and I would have rather been in a juvinille detention center, or  even prison, but Im just wondering if it was really one of the worst out there.

Hi my name is Brandon,

I went to the Desisto School for 5 months in 2001, and it was a terrible experience. I spoke with a lawyer and tried to file a suit against them but I couldn't get in touch with anyone from the school after they were shut down so the lawyer wouldn't take my case! I really need help getting in touch with the current Desisto offshoot that I heard of in Florida, Please let me know anything,

Are you sure this is Desisto as in Micheal Desisto, the school that was just closed ? Im not sure were talking about the same place. I know they run a summer program in florida but as far as I know you can't just go there you had to go to the stockbridge campus.

I would like to create a forum for people who attended the desisto school in massachusetts. I was there for 5 months in 2001 and have been permanently scarred by my experiences there. Spending 6-weeks straight in the corner one time.

Hi my name is Brandon I went to desisto for 5 months in 2001. It was a terrible experience and it has scarred me. I was happy to see other people talking about desisto. I dont know how it was when either of you attended but when I was there it was constant cornering. I spent 6 straight weeks in the corner at one point, without ever going outside for those 6 weeks. I would like to talk to you more about the desisto experience if you want.
