They meet with the potential client(s), see if they have a case that would make them some money (I know, I know, but it's a fact of life) and if they can't make the case or justify their expenses then they turn it down. I didn't really expect anything to come of it because MCG is an ambulance chasing firm but I wanted to see for myself. There was no ulterior motive here. It was a go and see kind of thing. It didn't work out but no one was harmed.
