that sucks. jerry was a good guy. I always felt bad cause he and i got along, but in one of my cop out attempts from the building, he happened to be the one taking me to the bathroom. i was hoping it wouldn't be him, but he came and got me out of group. that sucks. cause is was one of those fight and run situations. and he was real pissed when i came back to group. i had been his nc, and we were host brothers at some point together, before all that. how did you find out? do you have anymore info.

-also- glammer boy. i think we were put on some weird buddy system and sent to live at the griffen house as nc's. i'm pretty sure it was you. about that time i was no longer changing my clothes. it may have been around christmas, cause i remember we were allowed to listen to christmas albums. but then again, time blends together and most of my memory of that place has fallen away.

i think everyone did. But to tell you the truth... I kind of liked it. It's my fondest memory of straight.

and yes I'm kidding about the fond memory part. when you cop out  and get caught, you have to go through it again. and again. The staff always seemed embarrassed to do it though. best way to handle those moments is to just pretend it was an intimate moment between the two of you. really freak 'em out.

i managed to cop out and stay gone for 11 days before the police found me. I was going for a minimum of 6 months in my mind. but my favorite stories are the failed cops outs. Once i made a run for it in the night. out the phazer door with the alarm going. I had placed some cloths outside my bag in the hallway to just grab and run. Unfortunately I didn't realize that they locked the bags and cloths up at night at the host home. so instead I ended up with nothing. And that was what I had on when I got outside. Nothing. Just some tighty whiteys. I was somewhere in VA. don't know where. and need to get to NC. I don't know about you guys, but I not really sure I would want a ride from the person who would actually pick up a 15 yr old who is on the street only in tighty whities.

once during a confrontation/restraint. I was actaully hit in the back of the head with a chair on the way down. Needless to say it opened a nice size wound and I bled everywhere. They kept me in a restraint until I was too dizzy to do anything (oddly enough, I didn't know I was bleeding at that point) They then took me too the nurse (his name was Angel) and he held a towel on my head until it stopped bleeding and then shaved it, and then put a piece of TAPE on it. whew. i thought i was going to have to get stitches, thank god for tape. that was my first straight scar. Later I got a minor hyrneia that I was allowed to keep for about 6 months until VA straight closed down and I was packed up and shipped to atlanta and finally got medical attention. Some how i was still able to fight regardless of the hyrnia. Straight increases your threshold of pain. Hell I had colds and flues in that place that would keep me in bed a week now and have me at the doctors office.

(yes, i got the privaledge of "attending" two) at least hear of them, if nothing else.
