You are her daughter, and probably do not have objectivity. You may be she, however, writing differently. I wonder, as her posts are so vigorous in their devense of CEDU and she's so worked up. She does not IN ANY WAY read like a psychotherapist. She does look like a fanatic. Sorry, but she does.
Her vigorous defense of CEDU is based on her experience, only. She blows off the rest of us and our experiences. She is very condescending and insulting, really. She has been making legal threats? What is up with that? Why would she do such a thing?
If you truly are her daughter, don't waste your time here trying to defend her or change our impression of her. She has made a terrible impression. Despite what she says, despite her arrogant claims to be educated in psychology, she writes as a person with borderline personality disorder would. Intense arguments, deep involvement in defending herself. If she were mentally and emotionally healthy, we would not see these things.
If she sees this post, she will post some angry response about how inappropriate and unethical I'm being or some other such rubbish. This is absolutely false, and I'm sick and tired of her accusations. There is nothing unethical, illegal, nor wrong in any way to say that someone looks like some particular diagnosis in their writing.
If you stay in these posts, people will attack you because many of us do not believe Ottawa5. She has lost all credibility.
If you have the backbone to, ask her to print out ALL of her posts (she has said she printed ours out when she was making legal threats last week or so) and show them to her faculty members at school. Believe me, if she goes to a decent school, they WILL be alarmed. There is clearly something wrong with her - she spends hours and hours writing long diatribes against us and making threats. She's supposed to be busy? When I was writing my thesis - and later, my doctoral thesis - I sure didn't have time for such as this!
If she's going to some private school, and it's not an ivy league institution, they might not have the salt to tell her. However, at a major state university or at Yale, I can tell you, they would have her up in the dean's office talking to her about her mental health.
This post may hurt you, and that's why I suggest you just leave these alone. Your mom has stomped around, written long, long posts, and offended everyone here. She does not care... and she certainly alarms me as a potential therapist! Why is she here? What is she trying to accomplish? The only thing that seemed to stop her pages and pages of posts was the bet we had going speculating how many zillion more words she would write to defend herself.
She looks far too defensive to be considered mentally healthy. You'll realize this by the time you're 30 - unless, of course, you are she...

I don't hate you, Ottawa. I do, however, feel that you are a smug, superior, naive person. You try to come off as an expert, but your schooling is poor and your logic thin. You are offensive to these young people and some of the paretnts, as well. Your silly attempt to pretend to be your younger son was transparent and immature. Please stop posting the offensive things that you do. What is the point? Don't you have better things to do?
It has been suggested that you print out all of your emails and show them to your adviser. You probably have not done so, as it would expose how you've lost all objectivity and gone off the deep end here.

Hi, there. I'm sorry but I'm having trouble believing you. Ottawa5 has become so hysterical and aggressive in her posts, that I believe you are she. Check out the history. She really went off the deep end. So sorry, buddy. I think you are the same person.

Be aware, folks, that Ottawa spends a lot of time in these posts AND checking to see who's online. She logs off and then right back on as "anonymous" watching and waiting. Please be careful! She's definitely a mole! You ex-staffers need to be extra cautious! Chuck, give us a bit of input, please!
