I am an atheist, out and out. It took me a long time to say it. I've been an atheist for years and years, but somehow I felt it was intellectually unrespectable to say that one is an atheist, because it assumed knowledge that one didn't have. Somehow it was better to say one was a humanist or agnostic. I don't have the evidence to prove that God doesn't exist, but I so strongly suspect that he doesn't that I don't want to waste my time.

Goddamn but I'm hung over...or I wasd 'til I drank a few more brews (actually, I was surprisingly OK this AM, 'cause I did lotsa b12 and h2o and aspirin before I crashed  around 6am this morning). Drank like hell, smoked lotsa TBPITW, snorted coke, shot dilaudid and coke, drank more, smoked more, drank even more, smoked more grass, then popped a few Xanax yesterday.  Good fun.  Went to see a friend's band.  Girlies singing me "Happy Birthday" at the bar, then, lo and behold, a few "Happy Birthday" messages on the answering machine from friends, culminating in Antigen and Cayo singing it.  I am truly touched, deeply.
