CITYBEAT - CITY OF CALGARY PRESS RELEASE

On Sunday March 06, 2005 at approximately 1:20pm a roll job
robbery occurred in an ATM vestibule located at 36 Street and
17 Avenue S.E.
The victim, a 64 year old male, was followed into the ATM
vestibule where he was attacked by a lone male culprit. A
struggle ensued between the victim and the culprit which
reulted in the victim being slightly injured, and the culprit
losing his jacket and shirt. After the struggle the culprit
fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash from the
victims account.
A passing citizen gave chase to the culprit and followed him
to a near by "crack house" in the 2200 block of 37 Street
S.E. Shortly afterwards, Calgary Police Service members
entered the residence and found the culprit hiding in a
bedroom.
The culprit was arrested without incident and all of the cash
stolen from the victim was recovered.
Arrested and charged with Robbery was 25 year old Mitchell
Byron TILDEN of No Fixed Address.

I have no idea whether he is or not---it just seems a strange inference to make, given all the random crime in the world that has no particular connect with to do with AARC or any particular program.

I thought i would respond to this posting even though it was put up along time ago, the young man who performed this "roll job" was infact a proud graduate of AARC, one whom i know quite well and is a very lovely person. The sad truth is once he began to use again AARC would have nothing to do with him, even though he ran back there a number of times begging for help. Without the support of his family he had no $$$ to pay for another round of treatment by this "amazing" facility and i use that term loosely, so he was fed to the wolves and probably used as an example in open meeting to scare parents into keeping there children locked up in, what can only be described as, HELL

Mr. Tilden certainly is a former inmate and graduate of AARC. Unlike all the random crime in the world that has nothing to do with AARC, this young man is an AARC product. Hopefully Mr. Hisexcellencypowerofgodonearthdefenderofthefaithdoctorvause will soon join him in his current digs.

SO sad
and he was homeless...thats the story of these kids. They are locked up and tortured during the years they should be cementing their freindships, their talents, their education, their roads and vehicles to a secure adulthood.
Instead they are locked away from society, their brains are beaten into jelly, they are denied every article that would be of sustanance to them, and then, when no more money can be wrung from their bodies they are turned out naked and helpless to be ground up in the grinding gears of society.
But what else can be expected? When you debase a human being through-out their formative years how can they form into a creature that is anything but deased? When you break a chilld what else can the become but a broken adult?
Will Vause be put in prison next to this boy?
