Post by: Gmom on March 31, 2005, 11:01:00 PM: PUBLIC NOTICE The Juab Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. in the Juab County Commission Chambers located at 160 North Main, Nephi. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on a request from Mark Sudweeks to operate a Boarding School on property he owns in the southwest part of Section 32 T13S, R1E, S.L.B. & M.

Understand the Suds plan to have horses and an arena at this NEW PLACE...so this commission issuing the permit needs to know exactly how the Suds treat animals TOO!!!!

Post by: Joyce Harris on April 07, 2005, 10:01:00 AM: The Public Hearing is today, Thursday April 7th: Sudweeks asking for permit to build "their new facility."--this location is outside Nephi."

Sudweeks -- granted the License for a Private School in Nephi, subject to "conditions." What Mr. McKnight, the City Administrator, had to say about these "conditions" can be read under the thread referring to this license.

Until then- keep writing and calling the Planning commision. Number and email are on this board.

I'd like to hear some real details here, myself. Not saying the Suds wouldn't do something like that, just seems a stretch from that posting.

That's the way the Sudweeks do things: parade the kids in front of the commission--"doing it to save the kids."

There IS NOT another public hearing on May 5th.

They do continue to welcome public comments.

Post by: Anonymous on May 06, 2005, 02:06:00 PM: The Juab Planning Commission agreed to issue a CONDITIONAL use permit. The CONDITIONS are being finalized prior to final approval and issuance.

Mr. Glenn Greenhalgh says the CONDITIONS will be provided upon completion, and upon request.
