Title: Newtons "Church" Land Use approved
Post by: Anonymous on February 07, 2005, 04:16:00 PM
It was approved today with 20 conditions.

Mike Sherman did a great job with his presentation and Newton's request should have been denied.

Looks like the Semblers are backing this.

At least we know where he is and can keep an eye on him.

Perhaps send flowers?

It is the old practice of despots to use a part of the people to keep
the rest  in order; and those who have once got an ascendency and possessed themselves of  all the resources of the nation, their revenues and offices, have immense means  for retaining their advantages.

What's 2/28 and 7/22 in 14.17?  What do those two dates symbolize that 25 people can attend?

2/28 is the day newton became "father cassian"  It is a day where his followers celebrate and worship him.  This is what was told by a newton follower to a neighbor in the area. Kinda friking scary if you ask me.

What a perfect opportunity to have a protest over the Newtons new Straight.

Feb 28 is the day to worship him, so lets give him the attention he desires.

I have an idea for a protest event/happening/statement for this venue.
Don't want to publicly tip my hand as to what it is. PM me if you want to hear it.

When a religion is good, I conceive it will support itself; and when it does not support itself, and God does not take care to support it so that its professors are obliged to call for help of the civil power, 'tis a sign, I apprehend, of its being a bad one.

Now it's my turn to talk and your turn to think
Your turn to buy and my turn to drink
Your turn to cry and not MY turn to sink

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whistling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came.

One Two! One Two! And through and through,
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head,
He went galumphing back.
-- Lewis Carrol,  Jabberwocky, "Through the Looking Glass"

Every act of a delegated authority, contrary to the tenor of the commission under which it is exercised, is void. No legislative act, therefore, contrary to the Constitution, can be valid. To deny this, would be to affirm, that the deputy is greater than his principal; that the servant is above his master; that the representatives of the people are superior to the people themselves; that men acting by virtue of powers, may do not only what their powers do not authorize, but what they forbid."
--Alexander Hamilton

How futile your little druggie antics are! Trying to keep me from my divine mission to get and keep little druggies off of drugs!  The nerve!  Well, druggies, you're not laughing so hard now, are you?  It's senseless to try and stand in my way, druggies---God, the government, and the courts are on my side, and we will continue to prevail over your foolish druggie antics, which do nothing but prove how dire your need for Tough Love remains.  Work the Steps, and maybe there will be hope for you.  Until then, wallow in your depraved druggie misery.  Love ya!
