This is probally pretty lame but..... Obviously everyone was in elan for there own problems, and while i have to say i've grown up a lot since then i still have a ton of issues. i don't even know why im posting this on here. I feel really depressed, i don't know if it's the holidays or what but i can feel myself slipping big time and i guess im just looking for a little guidance or an ear to listen without judgement. Since i left elan i still find myself winding up in the hospital for depression. i've been out for over a year now but im starting to feel real crumby again. IF anyone is willing to be a friend (not a guidance counselor) that would be so awesome. again im sorry if it sounds like im pathetic i just really need someone to talk to :???: thanks guys

depression? in hospitals? what the fuck is wrong wtih you? why dont you grow up and stop being a little baby, life is short, you need to get on out and shake it, and if you cant you should just hang yourself and put yourself out of your misery, you are probably really fat or something, and in that case...yes just kill youself and save us all from your fatness and retardedness, and lameness, and shittiness, and all the other nesses that suck

I don't think that I've ever spoken to you directly on this board, but your post is something that I can relate to. Do you think that maybe it might not be the holidays- but the weather instead? I have a VERY hard time in the winter. I live in Chicago, and it is a long, dark winter here. I personally NEED the sun to keep my energy up. Plus, I just hate being cold too. All I know is that I have a history of "slipping" in the winter, because I stop caring about things. So I know what you mean. As you can see though, we're all here for you!!! :grin: (and eachother)

An alcohol counselor I know takes anti-depressents in the winter time because of the lack of sunlight. It's something that affects a lot of people. Holidays suck sometimes,my father passed away on christmas this year and I just got back from Chicago.I hope you feel better.

the winter is difficult for some people... it's called seasonal defective disorder... pretty much, sunlight regulates the amount of melotonin that your body produces... However, when there is a lack of sunlight, typically the winter, your levels of melotonin increase, thus producing the affects of depression... They sell special lights that are exprensive, but create artificial sunlight, so that you can stabilize your melotonin levels...

I already know about the disorder. I started reading up on it when I was 15 and the psychiatrist my parents were sending me to tried to diagnose me as bi-polar, which I knew was a load of shit. He said I had high highs and low lows- but I knew myself better than that and thought- no, more like high in the spring and summer, low in the fall and winter.
I was just trying to briefly explain it to Kelly, to see if maybe she could relate to it.

Of course I remeber you!! Monmouth was a good experience, but I wasn't quite ready for college yet. Well- I was ready for college, but not the school part of it (oops! :grin: ) I wish you would have stayed longer with me there. It would have been nice to have someone there who knew what it was like to go straight to college from a place where you can't even go to the bathroom without permission!! Yeah, Megan Kelly and Kevin Crowley and I used to spend quite a bit of time down in Lincoln before Brian died. (I'm sure you remember Megan and Kevin from Illinois school.) I remember Brian telling us that you were in school there, and we all wanted to see you- but Brian didn't know how to get a hold of you. Well, emeil me or I will email you sometime soon!

Was Kevin Crowley in Illinois school at elan with us? I think I remember him. Do you remember Jason Kuna. He's is a buttload of trouble now. You guys could have called lincoln college and asked for marens ext. Bummer that would have been fun. In brians pre-meth addicted stealing my shit days.
