Has anyone called a District Attorney (or an appropriate official) to find out what the statute of limitations is in Florida?
Next post is what I could find of Florida's criminal code... anyone with better information please add on.

(scroll down to TITLE XLVI CRIMES)

Has anyone ever had a lawyer look into whether any of the injustices perpetrated against minors or adults in any of the Florida Straights fit any of the crimes in Title XLVI?
Have any staff or board members in Florida had criminal charges filed against them, have they been convicted, etc.

More or less the statutes for Straight in Florida is four years. This is the amount of years from the time the incident is recalled, or from the time the incident begins to have damage to the defendant. There are other istances where the statutes can be tolled but most attorneys, and the DA of Pinellas, don't want to recreate a wheel and so won't take any case against Straight Inc.

Thanks for posting that. Does that count for both civil and criminal proceedings?
If four years is indeed the case, there is still time for some SAFE clients to file suit. I think I will cross post this thread on the SAFE forum.
