my name is Emily Alberts and I graduated the programat rocky mountain academy last July. RMA almost ruined me! I was there for 2 years and i'll never have those 2 years of my life back. I am currently 16 years old and was sent away right after i turned 14! how fucked up is that. I was told i was a bad person and that i needed pills(perscribed) to keep me sane, I am on 900 mg of lithium 2 times a day! Dr. Ullrich should die :flame: . At BCA, eighty five percent of students are put on drugs to control them and keep them at the school intact through the abuse.
Your complaint against the Doctor and his Drugs is a rational and legitimate one. Anyone who has a high or low mood (and living at CEDU causes mood swings) is diagnosed bipolar or oppositional defiant.
My profession (psychology) has researsh showing that at any given time, a professional's diagnosis agrees with another professional only about 25 percent of the time.
Parents should not, therefore, trust or believe in the opinion of any clinician (especially a psychiatrist).
It is the witchcraft and superstition of our age to drug any person deemed difficult to deal with at any given time as disordered and needing drugs or treatment. It's 1984 folks, and, big brother is watching for any behavioral problem as an excuse to make you into a zombie
This may seem paranoid to any who have not been in the hands of this psycho-medical establishment. To those who would call this as such, my advice would be to go see a psychiatrist and see if, no matter your true situation, you are not deemed ill and walk out with a handfull of mind-deadening pills. This has been the case since the advent of Thorazene.
Parents, keep your kids away from mental health through pills until you understand how the environment of CEDU is crazy making. Better yet get your child out of CEDU or any other behavioral modification facility.
