I find all your quotes quite annoying after I post a message. What is your agenda? It surely isn't something that is trying to hide something is it? Or are we all supposed to stay in the dark? :smokin:

No, they aren't radomly done and these peole just have a bad orientation to God.

The notion that a radical is one who hates his country is naive and usually idiotic. He is, more likely, one who likes his country more than the rest of us, and is thus more disturbed than the rest of us when he sees it debauched. He is not a bad citizen turning to crime; he is a good citizen driven to despair.

The question before the human race is, whether the God of nature shall govern the world by his own laws, or whether priests and kings shall rule it by fictitious miracles.

You're right. They're not randomly done.  You have to check or uncheck the little box.  Since you seem to be so bothered by them, why not uncheck the box on yours??

They really are random--randomly drawn from a collection of quotes that I stuffed into a database table because I liked them. See http://fornits.com/quotes.php (http://fornits.com/quotes.php) and hit reload as many times as you want to get a random sample. Use http://fornits.com/quotes.php?form (http://fornits.com/quotes.php?form) to search on keywords.

You can disable this feature by editing your Profile (from menu to the left).

Screening pre-school kids for anti-social behavior is about as useful as screening the Christian Coalition for sanctimonious behavior.

Faith is a cop-out. It is intellectual bankruptcy. If the only way you can accept an assertion is by faith, then you are conceding that it can't be taken on its own merits.

[Religion is] the daughter of hope and fear, explaining to ignorance the nature of the unknowable.
-Ambrose Bierce

Religion is a byproduct of fear. For much of human history, it may have been a necessary evil, but why was it more evil than necessary? Isn't killing people in the name of God a pretty good definition of insanity?

I have never seen the slightest scientific proof of the religious theories of heaven and hell, of future life for individuals, or of a personal God.
--Thomas Edison, American inventor

First of all you're not an inventor moderator and if your not in heaven you just might be in hell and not know it, or well on your way there. What do you mean there's no God? where do you think you came from? Who do you think made you? Oh I get it ou made god....awe...

NOW I understand his problem with the quotes.  He even argues with them...amazing.  Admiral, they really are randomly generated (well, with a little help from Ginger's dad).  I don't understand why you don't just turn the damn thing off if you don't like it.  Do you realize that in the above you're arguing with a dead person???

::argue::

sometimes I  just get so mad. it makes me want to fill the air above and in front of my head with little white balloons containing black squiggly marks. sometimes I get so lonesome like this, I just want to find another yellow round-headed person like myself who feels the same way, so we can have a long extended conversation with our balloons, deep into the black night when the planet is turned away from the sun and the endless emptiness appears above our heads.

Nelson is certifiably insane. He has been in and out of mental institutions his whole life, and also as a teenager in and out of the Seed and then Life, and his brother was in Straight.

This is the truth. Making fun of an insane person is like kicking a retarded kid,not really all that noble.

I would suggest you pity him and also ignore his posts. That seems to work best.
