to the poster who mentioned being captured by mike parr in anchorage 1986. i was at rma 86-87. i remember 2 guys from alaska, one from anchorage and one from palmer.

to this day i think the emotional aspect of the whole thing was just too cheesy for me to respect. i liked the location though.

My name is Herman Allmaras, from Anchorage. I don't give a damn about using my real name. Mike Parr nabbed me in Jan. 86' as stated; I believe my father dropped 2K for the escort. My dad didn't realize at the time that I had some seriously pissed off dudes looking for me and that particular trip out of town couldn't have been timed better. I wouldn't have ran or tried to fight that gorilla (Parr)even if I could have. If Dad had just bought me a one-way ticket I might have just bailed on my own. The other person from Alaska to whom you refer was named Darrin (I'll skip his last name) and he arrived before me by several months. Darrin's father is/was a big shot attorney practicing in Anchorage. A student from Palmer doesn't ring a bell, but its been so long I could have easily forgotten.

Another Anchorage student, a  girl named Jean also attended during our time. She was pulled early due to financial reasons and was seriously bummed. To say Jean was into the program would be the most severe of understatements.
