The persons listed above cared a lot My 28 months at RMA are cherished memories. It was "no tolerance" back then, too. Hard as hell but worth every second.

cool hand, please use initials for last names. This place is indexable by google. Anyone (such as a prospective employer) can google and find out that these people were at these places. Survivors might not want that.

consider the half-hearted apology on the other page retracted. If your employer has that kind of free time, I suggest you look for another job. I'd be really interested in hearing from anybody who is employed by an organization that truly gives a fuck about your hard time at boarding school twenty years ago.

Those people are (or were) my friends. If one of the "guests" on here identifies themselves as one of those people and tells me to keep my big yap shut, then I will, with a quickness. But until then....

jeez, man, chill out.    I was just using one possible scenario.

(But yes, it does happen, depending on your job or industry. In my line of work, people could certainly be googling my name on the internet, and not for sinister reasons, either.)

People may not want their full names mentioned. Why should they have to wait for someone to post it before they have to say anything? Do you think that putting their last initial instead of their full name is going to make it more difficult for your friends to realize who you are talking about? I doubt it, which is good, but it will at least help in protecting their identity from other people who have no business knowing that sort of thing.

Look, it's just standard practice on fornits. I'm not making this shit up off the top of my head. If you don't want to do it, fine, it's not a rule, and it's not TOS. Hopefully the people you mentioned won't mind either.

This is a question that I don't think will ever be settled. I've seen mixed results. Just recently, some friends put together a list of the fallen. Couple of people were most upset at turning up there (mostly work related trouble) but others were touched. A few ppl have been.... displeased at first, but glad to have stumbled into good old friends this way.

I generally won't post people's names unless they were such assholes I don't give a damn what comes to them (figure they got it and more coming) or they're gone. I just wouldn't want this particular chapter of my life tossed out there involuntarily. I figure ppl will bust themselves out if they want to.

Precisely why we post most staff's full names.  :D

Although I did post a staff name of someone who I admired. It was one of those threads, though, that if someone he knew found out about it, it would reflect on him positively, since he was a pretty decent guy.

I definitely appreciate not having my full name posted, especially since I am in that first post. I wouldn't want anyone to be able to find my association with RMA via the net.

I was in the peer group with almost all the above named people, before I got held back for taking off a few times...I think I was in Peer groups 41 & 42.

Interesting to see who might be on here from those times...
