Title: Martial Law Declared in Florida- 7 Sept 2001

Does anyone know anything else about the reference to martial law having been declared in Florida on Sept 7, 2001?

To tell the truth, I was so busy that day I don't think I even read a newspaper. So I don't know what the offical status was. I do remember going out around 10:00AM. The streets were empty and there was a sheriff's officer sort of guarding the store I went into. I also remember hearing jets flying right over our neighborhood during the time all commercial and private flights were canceled.

You should be allowed to do whatever you want with your own person and property, as long as you don't physically harm the person or property of a nonconsenting other.
