I am gonna see my mom and see what kind of pictures I can dig up, plus maybe get some
current shots of the old Morgan Yacht Building.  They will not allow photos of the Gandy Straight building because it is up for sale by Verizon, and they are trying desperately to hide the buildings true origins from any potential buyer!!!

I too shall dig around, especially for Gandy pics, as that is where I was.  Verizon can kiss my backside, as my pics are mine to display however I wish.  I avoided driving the Gandy between 9th and US19 for many years, never conciously, but just knowing that I didn't want to go that way.  Hmm, interesting.

What a nightmare. The old Gandy Building. A scary place. So much of my life wasted in that lousy building. I live in Orlando and fortunately don't have to go back there. Although I have always wanted to go back just to look at the walls and contemplate.

comeon, there is a way around that now. There must be a website that is Straight related that you can post those at.. hey what about the MSN Straight Group? the address is: StraightStuff@groups.msn.com
if anyone doesn't know about this site, it will allow you to put photos on here as well, there are already several, but I'm sure you could probably put them on here, just a suggestion that just might work.
