The Israelis are starting to treat PTSD in their soldiers with cannabis.
I don't advocate self-medicating, but for those of you who still suffer from PTSD, it might be worth watching to see what dosages they use, over how long, and what results they have.
It'd also be interesting to see what information they're basing the decision to implement this on.

Just what the doctor ordered!!
My observation is that it is the perfect aid for addressing the symptoms of 'PTSD'- insomnia, nightmares, rage, anxiety, lack of appetite...and non-toxic. No negative side effects.
Very unfortunate that it's illegal.

One of the interesting side effects I've read about is that it helps you to eliminate bad memories. This, of course, can backfire. Say, for example, you forget what it was about an ex boyfriend that made you dump him in the first place. As w/ any medically active substance, you have to weigh the hoped-for benefits against the possibile unwanted side effects.
But it's very, very good for, not just treating symptoms, but actually reducing the effects of PTSD. Understand that legal and illegal are political, and often arbitrary,
categorizations; use and abuse are medical, or clinical, distinctions.
