Title: Elan's rules and regulations during your stay

Lets post a brief description of what the rules and policy's were during your stay, Im curious if it had become more strict or less structured.

Many annoying policy's were faded out during my brief time at the school, though I read that people after my time state it became alot more strict.

What rules you want to know about?
The one I found to most unreal was the screening of phone calls and mail.
Is there not a law against that?
Something to do with privacy? Or could I be wrong about this?
