Do parents actually take out Sallie Mae loans throught Keystone High School to finance their kid's home schooling? Is this in any way related to Key Bank?

I haven't closely followed the brawl lately, but here's what I remember of the blow-by-blow from about two years ago. Keystone Highschool is all about instituting new controls and requirements on homeschoolers. Last I heard, they were trying to make an accredited homeschool diploma (of which they were the sole perveyors) a requirement of law. I'm really not all that surprised to see these same people hawking gulag schools.
And, I do believe, they're affiliated in some way with Home School Legal Defense Association. HSLDA has a bad reputation for what some people call a legal protection racket. Essentially, they come into a state and sign ppl up for $100/yr family memberships. Then they start lobbying the legislature for "improved" homeschooling legislation. By the time they're done "improving" homeschooling laws, most people would be afraid to try it w/o a lawyer on call. Nice trick, eh? "Now, I'm a walking dead man," ... "And what bothers me is that I'm dead because I tried to help the kids. And it's all the fault of all those people over there at the DEA." [Dead Man Talking]

Ginger, wow, that is some trick, allright.
Did anyone notice how a couple of their partner schools are out of the country? What's up with that?
