I think you miss the point here. Often when people are discussing the abuses of these various Seed Spinoff programs the comment is "it isn't any worse than Boot camp" or something to that affect.
This is "wes fagers Comparison" as to why they are different and you can't equate the two. He isn't stating it as fact, but as his personaln response...in other words..his answer to people making the comment.
This comment, "it isn't any different than boot camp", is a way of offhandedly dismissing the abuses endured by children in thought reform rehabs, and I find his response right on target.

BEWARE if you "click" on fagets Fagers links,the links just take you in circles(I dont mind the content as much as the sloppy website),I hate politicians too but Fagers website would be much better if he would commit suicide and let others take contril of it and clean it up.

Look, I love that odd old dude as much as anybody. But I won't try and tell you that Wes is not eccentric. Take a look around you. Just about everyone w/ a sustained interest in this dark subject is a bit touched in some way or another. thestraights.com has actually developed better organization and some moderation over the years. It used to be really outrageous. And, as always, every statement of fact that he makes he provides citation and documentation.
I don't go lookin' for trouble. I just keep a little in a box should someone come by who is.
