Title: Email re: Casa By The Sea
Post by: Deborah on May 27, 2004, 10:09:00 AM
I received the following delivery error notice. Very curious, given that I didn't send an email to that address. Can one of you computer savvy people provide a possible explanation?

It reads:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

I get a lot of those. Messages returned from addresses I never wrote. I haven't nitice any from casa; but I delete them soon as I see the returned message in the subject box. Don't even open them anymore.
I wonder if you could call this cyber stalking?

Not to unduly alarm anyone, but don't ever open email that looks suspicious.  Viruses these days are commonly sent through returned email notices and no longer come with attachments containing the virus, just opening the email can activate it (the virus).  I'll see if I can find more info on this subject and post it here.
