California - Sponsored by Dion Aroner, passed in 1999 I believe. Advocates and activists who would like to see their state regulate these agencies may want to study this legislation for helpful guidelines. As I recall, the lobby for transporters was very well organized, but Aroner did the best she could with what she had to work with and felt confident would ultimately be voted into law. Hope this info helps others trying to make a difference in their home state. :smile:
